2018 Spring Events!

Saturday March 17th from 10am-2pm: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us by helping “green up” the Children’s Garden during our community stewardship event! Come for an hour or for the whole event- tools and gloves provided for all kids too!

Saturday April 21st: Earth Day Celebration!
• 10am-2pm: Community stewardship event: Come for an hour or for the whole event- tools and gloves provided for all kids too!
• 11am-12noon: Our very first Family Garden Class of the year: “Growing a Snack Garden in a Container”, taught by Tanya White. Bring your own cloth or vinyl shopping bag, or use one of ours!Register in advance for the Free Family Garden Class by sending an email to magnusonchildrensgarden@gmail.com., with your name and how many people in your family will attend. (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
• 12noon-2pm: Family Garden Day with garden and nature exploration activities!

Saturday May 19th: Endangered Species Day Special Event!
• 10am-1pm: Community stewardship event: Come for an hour or for the whole event- tools and gloves provided for all kids too!
• 11am-12noon: Our second Family Garden Class of the year: “Attracting Birds and Butterflies to Your Garden”, taught by Penny Bolton! Register in advance for the Free Family Garden Class by sending an email to magnusonchildrensgarden@gmail.com., with your name and how many people in your family will attend. (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
• 12noon-1pm: Family Garden Day with garden and nature exploration activities!

Saturday June 9th from 9:00-10:00pm: Lifelong Recreation Intergenerational “Barn Owls & Owlets” Nature Walk for all ages, with donations to benefit the Children’s Garden.
