Family fun for all!

The Scarecrow Festival features a FREE concert, scavenger hunt in the Community Garden Orchard, harvesting for the food bank, and much, much more!

The Magnuson Children’s Garden Committee will be hosting a variety of garden and nature activities such as worm bin exploration, painting clay pots, making pocket planters, nature art sculpture and chalk art, and harvesting for the food bank.

PLUS Teacher Emily (who is also a committee volunteer) will be in the Children’s Garden Willow House with a “Nature Kids Photo Booth” where you can take photos with her on her retirement day!  She’ll have a donation jar with her for contributions to benefit the Children’s Garden, and will personally be matching all donations made there!!!

There will also be 25-cent tickets available for a carnival of garden games, a ride-on kiddie tractor corral, and other kids activities with prizes!

And of course, you can make a super cool scarecrow!

You bring the clothes and a pillow case for the head, and Magnuson Community Center will supply the straw, the wood frame materials, markers and other decorations for a $20.00 fee. Then put your scarecrow on display during the Festival and see if you win one of the Scarecrow Fest special prizes!

Fun for the whole family!

No registration necessary.

A big prize that matches a super big scarecrow!
